She also said that she owns two beardies and that i should be giving amarii (my beardie) alot more "choices" and variation in food. She showed me Flunker's medley treat ( has freeze dried mealies, grasshoppers, and crickets) she also showed me the adult dragon food instant meal (freeze dried veggies and crickets just add water!) so i tried both and my beardie HATED them she tried both and didnt eat any of the rest. ![]() She replied that feeding crickets as a staple diet is really bad and i should switch it up and feed my beardie crickets a few days a week and give my beardie freeze dried crickets. I told her i feed my beardie crickets everyday along with greens and the ocasional mealies as a treat. She gave me a really strange look and told me she never heard of feeding wax worms to beardies. 1/3 A wax worm, moth larva that eats wax made by bees to build honeycombs, is seen in a laboratory at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Madrid, Spain in this undated handout. I went to petsmart the other day to see if they had any wax worms and the lady asked what i was feeding and i told her a bearded dragon. ![]()
